This fully funded PhD studentship focuses on developing an orally delivered, bioresorbable retentive structure with embedded sensors for gastrointestinal monitoring. The student will gain experience in cleanroom microfabrication, sensor design, and finite element modeling. Applicants should hold a first-class MEng degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or materials engineering, applied physics, or a closely related subject.
