This PhD project investigates actuated microdevices to improve oral delivery of biological drugs by overcoming mucus and intestinal barriers. The candidate will design, microfabricate, and characterize mechanical actuators using benchtop models and rheology. Applicants should hold a first-class MEng in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or materials engineering, or applied physics.
